Calvin played the trumpet in Austin High School Marching Band. He loved music and even took his trumpet the college with him.
Another random memory... He would show me his profile and say," Don't you think I have a prominent nose?" He thought that was a great feature he had.
I met with Vincent Pierce for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We were talking about family resemblances and he brought up how his dad also talked about having a prominent nose. It must be a Pierce thing.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not sure. Prominent might night be the right word nowadays. Glade seemed proud of his prominent nose as well. Maybe outstanding or distinct? I think it is a good sized normal looking nose; big enough to do its job, but not too big to be weird looking. I think some of us definitely share his "prominent" nose.
