I've always thought this was kind of a funny picture. Everyone is attacking Dad while Jeff is floating like a dead man in the water and I'm staring at all the weirdos. haha. It also always reminds me of how much Dad loved us and enjoyed playing with us. One of my few memories is of him playing baseball with my brothers in the backyard. I thought my dad was so cool because he could play baseball with one arm and I thought it was great how much he liked to play with us. I also remember a treehouse that we had in the backyard too. Did Dad make that, or am I making that up?

I love that picture! Yeah we had that playhouse in the back. It was there when we moved in. We didn't go in the bottom part very much because there were a bunch of spiders.
ReplyDeleteYeah, lower half was a mess and freaked all of us out. Upstairs was awesome though. I remember one time when April and some of the neighborhood girls came over and cleaned it up, dressed it up and even left some flowers in a can for us. In regards to that picture...some things never change.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think that picture is very telling of all of our personalities.
ReplyDeleteYeah I do remember that clubhouse! I have no idea how or when it got there though...that bottom part freaked the crap out of me! I remember playing catch with dad in the backyard a lot. I'm sure he probably played with everyone else too. He used to always play sports with us whenever he could.
